Judy Weber

Judy has been involved in rescue for thirteen years. She has gladly given a home to several dogs, including senior pets that were not faced with a bright future. Her love of animals, with a special fondness for Beagles, has led her to become very active in foster, adoption, and transport.

Judy has been involved in rescue and humane society duties as a volunteer and as a regular staff member. Her efforts in foster care alone have saved many dogs from the often necessary measures created by overpopulation. The tireless and often thankless work never dulls her spirit or recognition that placing an animal in a good home has rewards that cannot be measured!

Judy and Bridgett met while working at a local shelter and the friendship they formed carried on into the formation of Furever Friends Rescue and Transport Corp. In a quiet and unassuming way, Judy’s efforts, whether actively or indirectly, make a difference in the lives of many dogs. Her motto is to take each day and do something to help a dog along the path to a new home, or just get out of the shelter to live another day!Judy looks forward to the day when people are on a waiting list hoping for the right dog to choose them!
