Bridgett Williams

Founder, Vice-President

Bridgett has had a compassion for animals ever since she was a little girl. Yet it wasn’t until she worked at a shelter that she realized the extent of the continued love and help these animals truly needed.

Rescue first became passion for her in 2009 when she started the rescue program at the shelter where she worked. Getting to see and help those dogs receive a second chance at life was the greatest reward she could ask for. Time after time, Bridgett would help a scared dog at the shelter go to rescue and blossom in a foster home, reaffirming that she can, in fact, make a difference in the overpopulation of homeless animals.

Since working at the shelter with her friend Judy, they decided that their passion for helping animals needed to continue and thus came Furever Friends Rescue & Transport Corp. With this rescue Bridgett hopes to decrease the overpopulation of homeless animals. She strongly believes that every animal deserves a second chance at a loving home.

Bridgett’s first rescue in 2007 was her furbaby Mia (Mya), a pit bull mix who is now 5. She has since fostered several other dogs and will continue to do so in order to live out this dream and passion she has.
